Biggest Morning Tea
Another successful 'Australia's Biggest Morning Tea' was held on Thursday 26 May 2016.
Guests enjoyed a gourmet morning tea, including bottomless tea and coffee,
entertainment, fun and games. All funds raised went direct to the Cancer Council QLD.
Hits of Broadway
The Palmwoods Singers Theatrical Society presented Hits of Broadway on Sunday 19 June 2016.
It was such a hit with patrons that a second show was put on.
Christmas on Main Street Party
The Street Party was a hit yet again, despite the wet weather. Main Street in Palmwoods came alive on Saturday 12th December.
There was delicious food, markets, rides and activities for the kids as well as a Christmas concert,
CAROLS by Starlight and of course a visit from SANTA!

The Great Aussie Street Party
What a great day was had at the Great Aussie Street Party on 24th of January.
There was food, entertainment, face painting and rides for the kids, markets, novelty games, and even
and a CWA baking competition.
To finish off a beaut day, everyone stayed and enjoyed the outdoor movie (How to Train Your Dragon 2).
Palmwoods Has Talent 2014
The biggest event on the Palmwoods calendar was held in November.
Guests were treated to a three course meal while being entertained by our talented
contestants.

Biggest Morning Tea
The hall had another successful 'Australia's Biggest Morning Tea' on Thursday 22 May 2014.
Funds were raised to support cancer research, prevention and support.
Guests enjoyed gourmet morning tea, a fashion parade by Chic Fix Boutique, stalls and demonstrations. All funds raised went o the Cancer Council QLD.
Street Party on Little Main !
FAMILY CHRISMTAS CELEBRATIONS IN PALMWOODS
Little Main Street came alive from 2-8pm on Saturday 14 December with the spirit of Christmas.
There was delicious food, vintage markets, merry-go-round, jumping castle, face painting, kids craft,
Christmas concert, Carols by Starlight and of course a visit from Santa! Special guest artists
from Palmwoods Has Talent and the Sunshine Brass Band kept everyone entertained including the
spectacular Fire Twirler who opened the evening show! There was something for everyone, so make sure
you are part of the fun at our next Street Party. Proudly hosted by the Palmwoods Memorial Hall with the support of
local businesses and Sunshine Coast Regional Council.

PALMWOODS REALLY HAS WHAT IT TAKES
The biggest event on the Palmwoods calendar was a resounding success!
The inaugural event held on 26 October 2013 brought some of the region's most outstanding talent to the stage.
There were singers, dancers, acrobats, musicians and even a beat boxer!
Judges Phil and Mandy Emmanual and John James had the unenviable task of selecting the winners.

The hall played host to another successful 'Australia's Biggest Morning Tea' on 23 May 2013.
Guests were treated to a gourmet morning tea with bottomless tea and coffee, raffles,
door prizes and market stall displays.
Thank you Palmwoods community for helping us raise over $1000 for the QLD Cancer Council.
The Hall Turned 90 !
The Palmwoods Memorial Hall played host to around 100 people on 24 May 2012 to celebrate its
90th birthday as well as for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea.
They were treated to a gourmet morning tea followed by a fashion parade by Fashion Fetish.
The Hall's 90 year achievement was recognised by the cutting of a luscious chocolate cake.
A fantastic $1367 was raised for the Cancer Council. Many thanks to all who attended, as well as our volunteers,
including the Committee and members of the Palmwoods Senior Citizens Association.
